Travel Stuff

Hotel block details, travel and food/sight-seeing recomendations to come.

Flying

The two major airports in Los Angeles are LAX and BUR (Burbank). Burbank is smaller with less options in and out, but some people find it to be less chaotic. I would only pick Burbank if you are certain it will be more convenient and you plan to be picked up or are thinking of coming straight from the airport to the wedding venue.

Driving

You've heard all the jokes about LA traffic and parking. The wedding venue will have a parking lot so rideshare/lyft/uber will not necessarily be easier. There may be a lot of traffic near the venue if the Dodgers end up having a game that evening and then rideshare waits and prices might tough too. Going anywhere else, beware of parking in residential areas because often one or two blocks of any main drag tend to be permit only.

Hotels

We heard from a lot of relatives who were looking at AirBnBs or were part of particular hotel's loyalty program so we decided to not make any specific recommendations. Still, we did coordinated a small block of 10 rooms here
